1. Overview
Rerentall is a marketplace that connects people who want to rent out items (listers) with people who want to rent them (renters). Rerentall facilitates discovery, booking, payment and returns, but the rental agreement is between the lister and the renter.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts may be suspended for fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
3. Bookings & payments
When you book, you agree to the rental cost, platform fee, any delivery fee, and a refundable security deposit. Payment is taken at checkout and a booking is only confirmed after payment is verified. Platform fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Security deposits
A deposit may be held for the rental. After a clean return confirmed by the lister, the deposit is released. If there is damage, loss, or a missing component, the booking may enter a dispute and part or all of the deposit may be withheld pending resolution.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation terms depend on the listing's cancellation policy (flexible, moderate or strict). Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Listers who cancel confirmed bookings may be penalised.
6. Returns & late fees
Renters must return items on time and in the condition received, allowing for reasonable wear. Late or non-returns may incur charges and forfeiture of the deposit.
7. Prohibited items & conduct
You may not list illegal, unsafe, counterfeit or stolen items, or impersonate a brand you do not represent. Verified brand storefronts require admin verification.
8. Disputes
Renters and listers may open disputes for problems such as wrong item, damage, or non-return. Rerentall reviews the booking records, messages and evidence and makes a final decision for the MVP.
9. Limitation of liability
Rerentall provides the platform “as is” and is not liable for the condition, safety or legality of listed items, or for interactions between users, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of Rerentall after changes constitutes acceptance.
